Department of Management Science and Information Management
1. History
Department of Management Science and Information Management was derived from teaching and research office of system engineering affiliated to Management Engineering Department of Hohai University established in 1984. While management science and information system was opened in the specialty of management engineering in 1997, and the Department of Management Science and Information System was set up in 1998. The Hohai University Professional Adjustment and Development Plan (Trail) (Hohai University Science and Education No. 86 [1998]) was published on September 15, 1998, in which the information management and information system was listed as new profession into the adjustment directory. The specialty of information management and information system was separated out from Management Engineering to become an independent discipline and start its first session of enrollment in 2000.

Information Economics, Enterprise Resource Planning Systems, Operations Research, Forecasting and Decision-making, Data Structures, Business Intelligence Methods and Applications, Information Organization and Retrieval Curriculum Design, Information System Analysis and Design, Decision Support System, E-commerce, Project Management and Informatization
3. Faculty
The department currently has 20 teachers, including 3 professors, 8 associate professors and 9 lecturers and teaching assistants with PhD teacher up to 85% and teachers with a foreign degree or qualification up to 55%.
