The course part can expand students' horizons and determine the direction of further study and study suitable for them. Especially for students majoring in management and finance, the top teachers of Frankfurt University of Finance and Management can help students build a good methodological framework for the next academic research from different perspectives of finance and management. The internship part can provide students with experience in practical work in the consulting industry, enhance students' understanding of practical work, and provide valuable reference for subsequent personal career development direction.
What advantages can ICEP bring to students looking for jobs/internships?
The ICEP program cooperates with a number of international institutions (e.g. World Bank, Asian Development Bank, etc.), and the internship certificate issued has a high gold content, which can endorse the ability of the trainee, so as to help the trainee stand out in the resume screening and competition process of job search or internship position when submitting resumes. The internship tasks exposed to in the course of the ICEP program can improve the students' case study and data analysis skills, and can directly translate into significant competitive advantages in the written test and interview of job search or internship application. During the interview, the valuable experience of interning in an international project can easily attract the interest of the interviewer, become a shining point of the interview, and improve the success rate of being hired by leading companies at home and abroad (such as the Big Four accounting firms, etc.).
How is an FS/ICEP program retention internship (i.e. an international consulting industry internship) different from a general internship?
From the perspective of the nature of internship, FS/ICEP project retention internship is more flexible than ordinary student short-term internship, is part-time, can complete work after school without affecting studies, and the salary is rich, much higher than the domestic general internship salary, relying only on internship salary can achieve financial freedom during school. From the perspective of internship gains, FS/ICEP project retention internship is more in-depth than ordinary student short-term internship - each project task taken over has a complete project background, and there will be the whole process guidance, feedback and review of consulting industry experts and project managers, which can quickly improve personal professional ability, enrich practical experience in the consulting industry, enhance international background, and enhance personal competitiveness in an all-round way. In addition, FS International Advisory Services, as a leader in inclusive financial advisory, has a seamless promotion system consistent with other consulting peers (e.g. McKinsey and PwC), and student assistants can reach the rank of industry consultant during the internship period. In general, master's graduates are not likely to reach this level until they have entered the consulting industry full-time for two years. Therefore, for students who are interested in entering the consulting industry, FS internship is undoubtedly a fast lane for career development.
