The Opening Ceremony and Promotion Competition of the 2022 Jiangsu Postgraduate Business Administration Case Competition Concluded Successfully
On October 29th, the opening ceremony and qualifying rounds of the 2022 Jiangsu Province Graduate Business Case Competition were held at the School of Business at Hohai University, co-sponsored by the Jiangsu Provincial Committee for the Guidance of Graduate Education in Management, and co-organized by Hohai University and Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics. The competition focused on the themes of the digital economy and rural revitalization, and had 43 teams from 17 universities from both inside and outside Jiangsu Province competing. Ultimately, 24 teams advanced to the finals.
Li Junjie, a member of the Party Committee and Executive Vice President of Hohai University, delivered a welcoming speech. Other attendees included Shi Xinming, Deputy Director of the Jiangsu Provincial Bureau of Rural Revitalization; Wu Jianhua, Vice Chairman of the Teaching Steering Committee for Archives Management in Higher Education Institutions under the Ministry of Education and Professor at the School of Information Management at Nanjing University; Liu Fang, Assistant Vice President and Project Management Director of ZTE Corporation; and Zhou Haiwei, Dean of the School of Business at Hohai University. They each gave speeches on topics such as rural revitalization strategy, case development, case teaching, and the digital economy. The opening ceremony was hosted by Zhang Changzheng, Deputy Dean of the School of Business at Hohai University.
In the qualifying rounds, after fierce competition, six cases were awarded first place, eight cases were awarded second place, and ten cases were awarded third place. The "Hot Soil Hometown Team" from the School of Business at Hohai University won first place with their case "The Road to Integrating the Three Industries of Apricot Village to Revitalize Red Soil." The "Baichuan Chaohai Team" won third place with their case "The Road to Secondary Entrepreneurship in Huoshan Village: Grassroots Party Organizations Guiding the Three-Chain Isomorphism to Promote the Integration of the Three Industries."
The purpose of this business case competition is to guide students to use their professional knowledge to analyze and solve practical problems in business management through the analysis of business cases. Through the introduction of the competition format, it aims to promote learning and teaching through competition, explore and innovate the reform model of graduate education in business management, and enhance the professional literacy and practical abilities of professional degree graduate students.
