Business School held sub-forum of the 5th "International Youth Scholar Cloud Forum"
On November 1st, the Business School sub-forum of the 5th "International Youth Scholar Cloud Forum" was held in the A101 conference room of Boxue Building. Fourteen young scholars from Tongji University, Nanjing University, University of Science and Technology of China, Southeast University, Hefei University of Technology, Tianjin University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics, Macau University of Science and Technology, University of Angers, Beihang University, Xi'an Jiaotong University, University of Sydney, Soochow University and other universities gathered in the cloud to participate in the forum exchanges and discussion. Members of the business school's leadership team, heads of business departments and relevant functional departments, as well as representatives of professors and young teachers attended the forum. The sub-forum was chaired by Professor Tian Guiliang, the member of the Party Committee of the Business School and Vice Dean of the School of Economics and Finance.
Professor Zhou Haiwei, Dean of the Business School, first delivered a welcome speech and introduced the history of the school, the characteristics of running the school, talent training, discipline construction, scientific research, and future development planning to the young scholars. The young scholars introduced their scientific research results, teachers from relevant majors commented on the content of the reports of young scholars, and the participated teachers also had heated exchanges and discussion on related research topics. Professor Huang Dechun, Director of the Academic Subcommittee of the Business School, fully affirmed the research achievements of the young scholars in his summary, and hoped that the majority of young scholars would actively join Hohai University and join our Business school, closely combine their professional research direction with the relevant fields of our school, take the initiative to shoulder the mission and responsibility entrusted by the times, build the "dream of Hohai" and write a new chapter together.
