In order to further broaden students' international vision, improve students' foreign language learning, communication and cross-cultural communication skills, and cultivate high-quality talents with strong international competitiveness, HHBS cooperated with Frankfurt University of Finance and Management in Germany and implemented the two-week program International Competitive Ability Improvement Project during the summer vacation.
The project was carried out through the Tencent conference platform and was divided into two phases. The first stage is the study of financial theory. The German project team arranged four senior professors to give lectures on the professional theories and practices of development finance, finance and growth, innovation and strategic management, etc. The courses were rich in content and highly interactive. Students learned the theoretical development at the international frontier and have broadened their horizons. The second stage of learning mainly revolved around consulting projects in cooperation with the Asian Development Bank and the World Bank. The German project leader explained in detail the theories and methods of project management and consulting, and each team conducted data analysis and reports on specific projects as required. The students said that participating in such a project is a learning process in itself. They not only apply the knowledge they have learned in practice, but also understand the work content of the consulting industry. The experience of completing a complex job in a short time also gave the students a deeper understanding of the importance of teamwork.
In the course of the project, the participating students were earnestly engaged in learning and showed a good study capability and solid learning foundation. The various performances during the learning period were fully affirmed and praised by the German school. This project activity achieved the expected goal, improved the students' international exchange level, and accumulated experience for the college to further carry out international exchange projects in the future.
