| MBA Lecture Series was held as scheduled in lecture hall for Business School of Hohai University at 9 am on Nov 17, 2012. Professor Zhang Yang, as the dean in Business School， made a lecture titled “ Water Valley – a coordinative and innovative system” Professor Zhang Yang, as a main proponent, indicated that we are undertaking to build Water Valley - a coordinative and innovative global system integrating water conservancy education, science and technology, talents，capital, industry, culture, etc, which is based in Nanjing, covers all the country and faces the whole world. Water Valley will become an international famous water town for it takes water as core, relies on advantages from Hohai University with the characteristics of world-class water conservancy and forms regional complex by interaction of global famous water conservancy education units, water conservancy r & d institutes, international high-end water conservancy talents, water industry agglomeration, water financial capital and social service system. Professor Zhang Yang explained global headquarters’ characteristics of Water Valley in detail which will be built into a demonstrative, modern, characteristic and ecological new innovative water conservancy park by highlighting Chinese development patterns and characteristics of Hohai University, referring to American Silicon Valley and Stanford University, etc and coordinating domestic and international industry, education, research and finance. Professor Zhang Yang interacted with all present students on suggested questions and by micro-blog from the beginning to the end warmly and fruitfully under friendly and open atmosphere which is thought highly of by all the participants.  |
