Brief Introduction to Electronic Business

 The major of E-business has taken shape after a decade of development since its foundation in 2002. The undergraduate teaching of the major was undertaken by the Department of Management Science and Information Management. This major is a comprehensive one in combination of management science, information science, system science, computer science, economic science, and so on. The graduates are mainly engaged in jobs like the analysis, design, operation and maintenance of systems, programming and management of information technology in the domain of information management.
 After years of development, a professional faculty team has been established through internal talents training and external talents introduction. Up to now, there are 19 full-time teachers, including 2 professors, 9 associate professors and 8 lecturers, among which, 17 teachers have doctor’s degree,taking up a proportion of 89.4%. The dominant teachers have an average of over 20 years’ teaching experience. Our teachers are encouraged to strengthen foreign exchanges, and quite a few of them have finished their studies abroad and returned to China.
This major aims to cultivate high-quality talents that cater to the requirements of modern E-business with knowledge and abilities in business skills, information technology, management, economy, laws, foreign languages. Also, they have a systematic command of basic theories and methods of E-business transaction and network marketing. The major focuses on the cultivation of students’ comprehensive quality and abilities of adaptability, organization, coordination and innovation. After graduation, our students are transferred to professional talents in e-business and network marking. They become elites in the areas concerning business enterprises, Internet companies, government departments, NPOs, education departments and scientific research departments. Generally speaking, all of them have a promising future.
